Course Summary
This course is designed for financial professionals, such as IFAs, Estate Planners and anyone dealing with clients who may own or be looking to own Cryptocurrency or NFTs. It is also suitable for those with little or no experience of Blockchain and Cryptocurrency as an introduction to help get started.
It's a self paced course, meaning you can dip in and out as you please - the Narrated powerpoints are all set so they are split into approximately 10 minute sessions (although they may contain embedded videos as well) and there are knowledge checks throughout each module to check your understanding.
At the end of the course, you will understand what the Blockchain is, How Cryptocurrency works, NFTs and the Metaverse as well as being able to spot scams. This is explained (where possible) in plain English and aims to help you engage with friends, family or clients whether they are involved in cryptocurrency or not!

I started Plutus Crypto Consulting with the aim of simplifying the sometimes intimidating world of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain.
So what makes me different to some of the other consultancy services?
My industry experience in Financial Services, years as a user of cryptocurrency and a passion for providing simple, jargon free training to professionals to help them understand this emerging asset class. My goal is to be able to help professionals understand their clients digital asset holdings and how they work, whether it's portfolio planning, digital estate planning or just helping to navigate the complexities of this emerging asset class.
The cryptocurrency market is expanding rapidly with the introduction of institutional investors combined with the recent growth of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ether along with the high profile NFT art and collectibles market, users and holders of these assets are increasing at pace. This presents a challenge to professionals with clients wishing to discuss these types of assets and seeking advice or guidance on how this fits into their wider portfolio.
I specialise in online or face to face training, either in a group environment or one to one, working with clients who have little or no experience of the cryptocurrency market. My goal is to provide guidance around the basic principles of crypto and blockchain, to build knowledge and confidence when dealing with current or prospective clientele.
With 25 years in leadership and operational roles within financial services, I understand the market from both angles and use this to communicate effectively at all levels.
I'm a huge advocate of adopting new and emerging technology and using this to create a simplified experience when dealing with clients looking to diversify their portfolio, discuss their existing investments or those clients legacy planning for their estate in the event of death or loss of mental capacity.
